On 10/30/08, Students for Life of America (SFLA) released undercover footage of a nurse at a, federally funded Planned Parenthood (PP) facility in Freehold, describing how an abortion would be performed on a 22-week unborn child. In the footage, the PP nurse describes to the pregnant woman that the abortion would entail delivering her son alive and admits that "it wouldn`t be able to survive on its own so eventually the baby does die.“ As evidenced by the SFLA video, the practice of allowing babies born alive during abortions to die, (infanticide), is still being practiced today. Kristan Hawkins, SFLA`s Executive Director remarked, "I was absolutely stunned when the Planned Parenthood nurse revealed that allowing a baby to die after being born alive is a common practice for abortionists.” SFLA is urging Congress to immediately investigate PP, the nation`s largest abortion chain and recipient of over $300 million federal taxpayer dollars each year.
